Why is our ButterCrunch so darn good?

Without giving away my mom's secret recipe; I will share this with you: While most Butter Crunch or Toffee is made with white sugar, because brown sugar will burn more quickly than white, I honored her recipe by using brown sugar, and that makes all the difference!

Though, it is more tedious to make as it must be watched and stirred a lot!

Also, no water please! Other companies may use water to prevent sticking or burning and/or add significant amounts of Lecithin which adds volume, making it more airy rather than a nice crunch when you bite into it. It is very important for me to keep my mother's recipe and tradition intact. So, you will find no water, molasses nor high amounts of salt to preserve it.

It was always made for family & friends many year's ago, and it's still made with love today - and because of that... I feel, it's simply the best!

Is it Kosher?

Yes, all of our ButterCrunch is made under strict Kosher supervision and certified by The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations

The word kosher is a translation of the Hebrew word meaning "fit" or "proper." It refers to foods that meet the dietary requirements of Jewish Law. Whether a product is kosher depends on the source of the ingredients and the status of the equipment it is produced on. Kosher certification is the guarantee that the food meets kosher requirements.
